I'm so lucky that Ruby loves both the vet and the groomer. We never have trouble with getting her to appointments. The results from all the bloodwork last week are encouraging. The vet tech informs me that the vet said her cancer appears to be in complete remission. I hoped that would be the case with the tumor removed. Now lets get rid of any stray cells roaming around in my baby. today is an IV of Vincristine sulfate. They tell me this one may make her nauseous so I am given some Metoclopramide and Metronidazole. We'll start with the Metoclopramide as a preventative measure. She is happy and active for now.
Wednesday morning she eats normally but right before dinner she vomits and will not eat anything. No dogfood, no cheese, no Peanut Butter...NO BANANAS! This is not fun. We have to force feed her pills to try to calm the nausea and increase her appetite. Let's hope they work and she is better tomorrow morning.
As a little added bonus, her farts are Horrible!
